France Press: Bulgaria with lowest prices for real estates in EU

After the years of headlong increase, the prices of the real estates in Europe mark a certain standstill according a research of ERA- worldwide real estate agency network. Jan Lavappo – the executive manager of ERA- France has presented today to the press the results of the research, realized in collaboration with 1 500 real estate agencies from 19 European countries. The situation in the different countries varies and if the prices in France and Italy are “stable”, the situation in UK, especially London and its area- the prices of the properties are raising continuously.

Luxemburg tops the list with most expensive properties in the capital with average price of 485 000 Euro for a real estate and leaves behind London, where the average price is around 473 830 Euro. Bern is third in the list with 440 000 Euro, followed by Dublin- 427 343 Euro, Madrid- 382 000 Euro and Paris- 324 840 Euro.

The last two capitals in the list are Prague with average price for property- 112 000 Euro and Sofia- where are the cheapest properties- 78 000 Euro average price. But Bulgaria tops another list – number of property owners – 94% from the people has their own homes. Next in the list is Cyprus – 85%, followed by Spain- with 84%. Around 68,9% of the Europeans has their own homes.
