The premises of the former amusement park Sofia Land amusement have definitively said adieu to use as an entertainment complex. The land in Sofia's Lozenets borough will be used for a multifunctional development; one-fifth of the area will be occupied by a new highway, 24 Chassa daily reports. The decision was taken at the last meeting of the Sofia Municipal Council, when changes in the Sofia's master plan were approved. The new road will connect the area in Lozenets behind the former Sofia Land, Tokuda Hospital and Sreburna Street. It will be 1.3km long and will ease traffic on the junction between Cherni Vruh Boulevard and Nikola Vaptsarov Boulevard, Sofia's chief architect Petar Dikov explained.
