Another ski project kicks off in Dobrinishte

Pirin Mountain will see one more ski project, which will be developed in Dobrinishte, a town situated only 6 km from the front-runner Bansko, announces Property Wise. The investor is Orbel Development Jsc. Its shareholders are the Austrian investment fund Norema, a tourist holding company, and Galchev Engineering Group Jsc, a part of Galchev Holding. The two companies combined their resources and experience, coming in with the winning bid at the tender offered by Bansko Municipality to develop the area.
The project costs will come to 40 million euro, according to preliminary calculations. Funding is already provided, announced Nikolai Galchev. Investors intend to develop adequate infrastructure, which would serve the project and the local population as well without marring the unique natural landscape. The ski zone will encompass 2 000 hectares and will feature ski runs and facilities with a total length of 22.5 km, 39 km tourist paths, and a 6 km gondola ride connecting Dobrinishte and Gotse Delchev. Open ski lifts will start from there and lead to Bezbog chalet, the namesake mountain peak, and the rest of the ski slopes. Hotel units will offer 10 000 beds and all the buildings will be erected in the suburban areas.
