FairPlay Properties REIT will invest in a residential complex in Sandanski, Bulgarian Stock Exchange-Sofia reported. The project is first of a kind for the company, which has so far invested primarily in coastal and mountain holiday villages. The Sandanski development will be a gated compound, spread on a plot of 18 000 sq m owned by FairPlay Properties REIT. The investor will construct a mall retail centre near the complex. Construction will start in the middle of 2008 and will end in 2011. The investment will come to 21 million leva, 1.2 million of which has been poured into acquiring plots. The trust will erect new water and sewerage installations. The expected sales revenues will reach 32 million leva in three years.
