Plaza Centers today formally announced, that with the acquisition of the project for a Shopping center in Shoumen, the company has made its first investment in Bulgaria. The property consists of 17 000 sq. m. plot, on which a shopping and entertainments centre of 18 000 sq. m. with 600 parking spaces will be developed.

The total investment in the new center will be 38 million EUR and the project will be completed by the end of 2009. With its investment in Bulgaria, Plaza Centers aims to further strengthen its positions in Eastern Europe. It currently runs five projects in Romania and three in Serbia.
