Bulgaria chooses the golf as a means for more profit from tourism
The golf playgrounds emerge like mushrooms after rain, while the government discusses the ways to attract more tourists to Bulgaria, reports the agency.
The Bulgarian Black sea coast and the mountain resorts are famous for a long time amongst the tourists from the western countries, the ex-socialist countries and Russia. While this lead to a real boom in the second class hotels developments, the rich tourists went elsewhere, looking for calmer and less populated places. The foreign investors felt that Bulgaria has a real golf potential, with its mild climate, picturesque nature and lots of places of interest.
“When I saw the seaside here for a first time, I realized that it is meant to be a golf playground”, says a British investor. Now in Bulgaria there are three active playgrounds, and 15 more are underway. However, such prepositions are actually less or more risky, having in mind the problems of the country. |
