According to the analyzes, for year 2007 the construction activity has grown up to 15%, which puts it among the fastest developing branches here in Bulgaria. The reason of the constructions boom is the shortage of modern lodgings, trade and administrative areas, storages, and logistical centers.

During the first year of Bulgarian membership in EU, the average growth of the prices of construction materials and concomitant services, was around 12,6%. It is expected that in 2008 their prices will grow up more, but not as much as the previous year – it’ll be around 11,8 for every hundred, which is related with the price increasing of materials of worldwide measure. The other reason for their growth is the rise in the cost of services at the local market.
