2400 visas a day for Russian tourists are issued in Bulgaria
2400 visas daily, or 53 000 visas monthly, are issued by the Bulgarian consulate in Moscow. For the first ten days of June were issued 53 percent more visas compared to the previous year. This was announced Monitor, referring to the Consul in the Russian capital Nikolay Panayotov. For comparison, the most difficult months last year the number of visas does not exceed 47 thousand.
From January until the end of May in 2008 were issued a total of 32 thousand visas for the same period this year they have over 10 thousand more. Deadlines for the issuance of visas have been reduced twice - they have four days to normal visa and 2 days for quick and owners of properties in Bulgaria receive visas by the consular department. For the first year of ownership it is repeated for one year and then it is repeated for three years. Tourists can apply for visas three months before the expected travel and the last year that period was only two weeks, which is quite alarming and stagger from potential guests. The most serious is the increase in visas issued individually which from 11 thousand from January to May 31 last year are already 18 600. |
