Bulgaria has been performing better at the foreign tourist exhibitions, chairman of the European Travel Commission Arthur Oberascher told FOCUS News Agency. In his words the country is getting more popular at a foreign level. ‘Bulgaria is one of the destinations where Western cultures originate from. Besides, Bulgaria is a place with a long history. So I suggest that you expand the activities of your tourist organizations, unite them to have an image-making tourist body in Bulgaria and a good combination of private and public sectors’, he added. Arthur Oberascher is visiting Bulgaria on the occasion of the 73th General Meeting of the European Travel Commission (ETC), which takes place in Sofia these days.
