“British airways” started five additional early flights weekly – 2 from Varna and 3 from Sofia, to the “Gatwick” – London. That is announced by Emil Delibashev –the trade manager of the aircraft company for Bulgaria. With the new flights in the summer schedule of the aircraft company, there will be 14 flights weekly to the British capital – ten from Sofia and four from Varna.
The two early flights from Varna to London will be carried out every Monday and Tuesday from the 5 of June till the 26 of September, specified Delibashev. The hour of the taking-off from the airport in Varna will be at 5 a.m., while the landing in London- at 6.35 a.m. Thus in the summer season the guests of the aircraft company of the Black Sea coast will have the opportunity to fly to London 4 times per week – every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
The frequency of the flights of “British airways” from Sofia to London is also increased 10 times per week from the 2 of June. There will be 3 additional early flights to the “Gatwick” airport, added to the daily flights to the “Heathrow” airport. They will be carried out on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The hour of the taking-off from the airport in Sofia is again at 5 a.m. with landing in London at 6.35 a.m. local time.
The early flights from Sofia and Varna to London – ‘Gatwick” will be served on Boeing 737 – 400, with 146 places on it.

The increased frequency of the flights between Bulgaria and Great Britain, as well as the flexibility of the spring schedule, proposed to our guests, will ensure comfort and more convenience during the trip. The early flights ensure additional possibilities for connections to over 160 destinations worldwide, within one and the same day “stated Delibashev.
On the 29 of March this year, “British airways” opened a regular line Varna – London - “Gatwick”, with 2 flights weekly. The clients of the aircraft company, travelling from Varna, have the possibility to choose between Euro Traveller and Club Europe(Business class). The flight prices from Varna begin from 100 euro for one-way ticket without included airway fares and taxes.
On the 20 of April “British airways” declared revolutionary changes in its rate policy alike for the one-way and the two-way fares in the whole European network of the aircraft company. The new rates for the one-way tickets from Sofia to London begin from 80 euros without the airway fares and at a value of 50 % from the total price of the two-way ticket. The price of the two-way fares is 160 euros, while the average reduction of two-way tickets’ price in Bulgaria is with 60 euro less, stated from the company.
It was for the first time in April, when the aircraft company declared the new rates for its business class flights to the “Gatwick” airport in the British capital. The new prices of the business class begin from 362 euro, not including the airway taxes, while the previous began from 1339.
