Great increase of Russian tourists in Bulgaria
Russian tourists who want to visit Bulgaria increase for a third month. That shows the number of issued visas by the Bulgarian consulate in Moscow.
Bulgaria is among the preferable countries for summer holiday which continue to attract large number of Russian tourists. From the beginning of the year visas issued are almost 26% more than those issued for the same period last year.
Number of tourist groups increase as well as the individual visits organized by Russian citizens purchased a property in Bulgaria. All the preconditions that trend to be continued in the next few months are available which means that Bulgaria will record growth in the Russian tourist’s visits compared to the last year.
Visa concessions and revised procedure on the issue of documents also played their part. According to the Russian agency “Tourinfo” rating of the Bulgarian consulate has jumped from 24th to 3rd place.
From the beginning of the next week tax of 11 euro collected from the visa center will be removed. |
