Hotels in Bulgaria's Pamporovo winter resort are nearly 100 per cent booked, resort representatives said.
Most foreign visitors came from the UK, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported.
In the beginning of winter season 2006/2007 Bulgarian resorts suffered from the lack of snow. Ski conditions improved in the beginning of February.
All Pamporovo ski facilities function properly. The snow coverage in the region of Snezhanka Peak reached 70 cm.
The full booking of Pamporovo resort resulted from the visits of foreign tourists, enjoying a winter break in February. BTA reported that the resort is popular among Brits, Irish, Russians and Maltese tourists.
Improved skiing conditions also appealed to a higher number of Bulgarian tourists. Resort representatives said that nearly a quarter of the skiers came from Bulgaria
