Increase of Russian visits due to property owners
Bulgaria is the only country in the European Union, which did not record a decrease in visits of Russian tourists reported BNT.
For the first six months of 2009 the Bulgarian consulate in Moscow has issued 20 percent more visas compared with the data for the same period of 2008
The increase was due to travel of the owners of properties in Bulgaria. Most of them apply for Bulgarian visas for one and three years.
The number of visas issued in 2009 was 150 000 more compared to the same period in 2008, said Bulgarian Consul in Moscow Nikolay Panayotov. |
