Lighthouse Golf Resort secures funding for completion
In an official press release, circulated today, Lighthouse Golf Resort announced they have secured funding for the completion of the last stage of the 5-star golf development, near Cape Kaliakra.
“There has been in recent times some intense speculation about Lighthouse Golf Resort development. There is no hiding from the fact that the worst economic crisis since World War Two has slowed the progress of the development and has made the operating market far more difficult. I am delighted to announce that we have received the final phase of investment from our financial partner Unicredit Bulbank due to the strong performance of the Lighthouse Project. We are now proceeding with their support to the final phase of the Lighthouse Resort Development. Work has already started in October 2009 and we aim to conclude the project by September 2011” said Mr. Paul Streater, General Manager of the development.
In his address, he also announced the completion dates for each phase, as follows:
- Completion of the Lake District for September 2010
- Completion of the Beach, Facilities and Road for May 2010
- The five star Hotel will start construction from February 2010 and be open for March 2011 in time for the 2011 season.
- Completion of the landmark Lighthouse & Restaurant
Regular quarterly updates will be made available by the company to ensure residents are kept up to date with the progress. |
