Number of tourists from Eastern Europe on the North Black Sea Coast increases

Hotel keepers on the North Black Sea coast reported an increase in the number of tourists from Eastern Europe.

In April the number of tourists from Moldova grew according to Marin Neshkov, chairman of Varna tourist chamber.

Hotels with 2 and 3 stars record a decrease but the first class hotels will keep their visitors, said Neshkov.

At the moment there are projects which have to attract Greek visitors to Varna. Traditionally they visit towns of Sandanski, Plovdiv and Sofia.

Varna is comparatively unknown for the Greek tourists and projects about cultural, religious and wine tourism are going to be made.
