Number of traveling Bulgarians increases
With a 16.8 percent increase the number of Bulgarians traveling the country for the second quarter of 2009, according to the National Statistics Institute (NSI).
The increase is based on data for the same period of 2008
At the same time, a decline of 30% of Bulgarians traveling abroad is registered.
The total number of Bulgarians traveling abroad and around the country is 1 280 000 people.
The main part of the Bulgarians traveled the country and abroad, have identified as the main reason for their holiday trip, excursion or a visit to relatives.
Among all of the costs during traveling in the country the highest proportion is the expenditure on food - 40.08%. |
