Ruling parties in Bulgaria have selected a campaign for the upcoming members of European Parliament (MEP) elections that fails addressing Bulgarian problems and the country’s EU entry, rightist parties said. Leader of the right-wing Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) Petar Stoyanov said that the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), one of the formations in the ruling coalition, has selected an elementary show as its approach to the upcoming elections. Such campaign will never lead to the exchange of political ideas, as the focus is directed away from the political debate, Stoyanov said as quoted by Focus news agency. UDF already presented its views and ideas but the ruling majority failed to answer, Stoyanov said. After the MEP elections, UDF will do its best to demand a new non-confidence vote, targeting the Cabinet’s social and economic policies, Stoyanov said. |
