Sofia - 17-th most desired place to purchase real estate
Sofia ranks 17-th amongst the European Capitals as most desirable place to purchase real estates, it was revealed by a ranking of the GPG (Global Property Guide). According to the study, the gross rental inocme in the city is 4.74%, which is a relatively high figure.
Bulgaria, and Sofia in particular, are described to have a number of other advantages, one of which is that the market is landlord dominated. The disadvantages, outlined by the guide include high property transfer costs, corruption and high level of crime.
In front of Sofia in the ranking are Brussels, Vienna, Liubliana, and Bratislava. At the top of the ranking are Budapest, Skopje and Amsterdam, with Istanbul, Zagreb, Talin and Berlin in close behind. Rome, Riga and Kishineu complete the Top 10 list. |
