Today we celebrate the Word day of tourism. According the statistics, the income from international tourism for the first seven months of 2007 are 1 347.4 million Euros, 16.07% more compare for the same period last year. The number of foreign tourists visiting Bulgaria between January and August increased by 7%. Bulgarian citizens spent more than 727 million Euros for traveling abroad in the period from January to July, which is 15% more than the same period last year, The State agency for Tourism said. From the beginning of this year 2 930 927 EU citizens visited Bulgaria, which is increase by 30.64% compare to 2006. In the period January-July 2007 Bulgarians have made 2 868 317 traveling abroad, which is 6.09% more than the same period last year.
