Time for Bulgarian visa processing is shorter
Receiving Bulgarian tourist visa will be much easier and faster: processing time decreased to 4 days (before the procedure takes up to 10 days). Also, changes affected emergency entry visas. Earlier handling them took 3 days, now - 48 hours, reported correspondent Travel.ru.
Bulgaria made some exceptions. Children under 18 years traveling in organized groups, will receive free visas. Earlier this rule was for children aged 16 years. Also a head of children's group whose members exceed 15 is entitled to a free visa. Free visas will be granted also children under the age of 12 years, traveling with their parents (before this rule was for children under 6 years).
Tourists from Russia are on the fifth place among all visitors to Bulgaria. Last year, the country was visited by 291 183 Russians, this is 18 percent more than the previous year. This is a very high rate, because the other countries of the five leaders are members of the European Union and visitors can travel without a visa to Bulgaria. |
